This fantastic location overlooks Pendle Hill and has some glorious views across the Ribble Valley.  It's within driving distance of Preston and Harrogate and close to the Yorkshire Dales National Park and Nidderdale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Both are perfect for days out exploring the countryside.

Todber has its own pub, The Steamer Inn, which serves good food and has a delightful beer garden. There's an outdoor play area and amusements for the children, as well as basketball, volleyball and a large recreation field. In Gisburn village you'll find picturesque stone cottages, a partly cobbled main street and a beautiful medieval church.

TCP Silver Plus 3 is a modern, airy caravan that sleeps six people. It has a TV/DVD and a CD player, a good sized kitchen with microwave and a shower room. There's plenty to see and do in Lancashire, such as the 54 acres of parkland at Williamson Park in Lancaster, which is home to a Butterfly House and Minibeast Cave.

Head to the British In India Museum in Nelson to see a whole variety of fascinating artefacts - swords, ivory models, photographs, paintings and items relating to the Delhi Durbars.

Our Top Tip
"Everyone will love Greenlands Farm Village in Carnforth - you can feed and groom the animals and wander the stone paved shopping street for bargains."

Fun Days Out in Lancashire

Bowland Wild Boar Park

For a day out in the fresh air then pack up a picnic and head for this park in Preston.  The stunning countryside is home to many wild animals and you may catch a glimpse of deers, Wild Boar and Longhorn Cows.  There is a charming cafe on site for drinks and snacks as well as some picnic tables.  On sunny days this place is a real delight.

Happy Mount Park

Happy Mount Park has attractions for the whole family including several play areas, a miniature railway, crazy golf, putting green and trampolines, there is also a paddling pool where the little ones can splash around in the summer and a café where the adults can relax with a drink. During the summer months and especially during school holidays live music can often be enjoyed.

Nice holiday park but so so so remote all attractions/shops/civilisation are all minimum a 20 min drive with even the info packs that your given showing the local attractions to be in Manchester and Bradford , staff are really nice and friendly there's only wifi in the pub area , The caravan(Gold 1) was nice and clean very airy and was overall 9/10 navigating the parks one way system was a bit of a headache but can't complain wouldn't stay here again due to its remoteness but all other things were perfect

Very good value for an Autumn break and we would definitely visit the site again. The caravan was clean and tidy. Very impressed how comfy the beds were. Ideal size for a family of four. The instruction booklet in the caravan was very clear as opposed to many sites we have visited.
