For those looking for a traditional seaside holiday and vibrant nightlife Blackpool is just 21 miles away. Golf and coarse fishing are also available within 10 miles. The site itself has a wide range of facilities including an outdoor heated pool with a shallow area for younger children. In addition the park offers a children’s play area, family snack bar and cabaret suite with regular entertainment.

Fun Days Out in Lancashire

Bowland Wild Boar Park

For a day out in the fresh air then pack up a picnic and head for this park in Preston.  The stunning countryside is home to many wild animals and you may catch a glimpse of deers, Wild Boar and Longhorn Cows.  There is a charming cafe on site for drinks and snacks as well as some picnic tables.  On sunny days this place is a real delight.

Happy Mount Park

Happy Mount Park has attractions for the whole family including several play areas, a miniature railway, crazy golf, putting green and trampolines, there is also a paddling pool where the little ones can splash around in the summer and a café where the adults can relax with a drink. During the summer months and especially during school holidays live music can often be enjoyed.

The three-bedroomed Langdale caravan provided a comfortable base. We struggled to get in and out because the bottom of the steps were always immersed in water and a promised platform never arrived. The beds are very short. The shower is excellent and the heated towel rails in the bathrooms much appreciated. Tea and coffee-making facilities upon our arrival were also very welcome. There is plenty of storage space.

The Holiday home was great with the added bonus of two toilets, one of them en-suite.
The fireplace made for some very cosy nights in with plenty of space for our family of five.

Had a lovely time here my children enjoyed it although there was no entertainment on but the staff opened the play area up for them each evening. We had tea in the restaurant for 2 of the nights. The food was amazing. Will definitely be returning at some point next year

Would not say it's a place.to take family. Not.much to do and a 50 min drive to Blackpool.
Excellent caravans we had 2 next door to each other they were the Thirlston. Parked outside the door. Site very clean, staff very helpful but not interfering.
