Fab beach views from Crantock Beach and the staff were really helpful about giving us directions to Newquay. The Wifi access was handy too as my boyfriend had to do some work while we were there and was impressed with the connection. We have had problems with wifi at other places we have stayed and so this was one less hassle. We had a Padstow caravan which was ample for our needs.

Beautiful clean caravan
Date of stay: 24th May 2019
As I said it would be better value if it wasn't for the dog charges.

Excellent caravan, very clean and plenty of space with a good layout.
Date of stay: 9th September 2017
The caravan was nice and large to accommodate both us and our 2 dogs without having to keep moving them or tripping over them, quite comfortable and the view was excellent, surprisingly quiet too compared with caravans in the past, the only thing missing from the cutlery draw was a pair of scissors which would have been useful several times to open packets
Date of stay: 2nd September 2017
Nice, clean caravan. A few minor adjustments would have made it even better eg bathroom shelving, bath mat outside shower unit, occasional table in living room, bedside lamps.
Date of stay: 4th August 2017
The caravan was almost perfect
Date of stay: 28th July 2017
Nice big caravan with 3 bedrooms; One double bed and 2 bedrooms each with 2 single beds in. All very compact but adequate for our needs. Located in nice spot with great views of the sea. Very clean and also had central heating for when it turned a bit chilly at night.

Date of stay: 9th June 2017
brilliant site everything about it could not fault, the friendliest of staff we didnt use the restaurant or the on site fish n chip shop as the site is so handy for Newquay; nothing against it though; so we couldnt comment on these. We would definately recommend Crantock ; we took our pet dog and she loved it the area is very dog friendly plenty of places to walk. The site is perfect position you have everything you could possibly need ideal for walking, the beach, the town of Newquay on your doorstep brilliant. One of the best sites we have been on and we have been coming to Cornwall for years.
Date of stay: 5th May 2017
The caravan was lovely,
Clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend!

Very impressed with the caravan, exceeded our expectations having full central heating, double glazing and a double sized shower. Very clean and perfectly located.
Date of stay: 28th April 2017
We will definitely be going back to Crantock Beach Holiday Park, I think we will be going back a lot, this Park is stunning, the location is amazing, with brilliant views of Crantock Beach and less than 5 mins walk to the beach and River Gannel, which are both dog friendly areas. A++++++++
Date of stay: 31st March 2017
Fantastic caravan could not fault it one bit.
Date of stay: 10th September 2016
The caravan was in a good clean condition and didn't get too cold at night. It has central heating, microwave, a good TV, gas oven with self-ignition ... overall very comfortable. The caravans are arranged quite close together meaning there is potential for noise, although this was not a problem the week I stayed there.
Date of stay: 15th August 2016
Wonderful caravan. Very roomy and comfortable. Living area great. Beds clean, just a few utensils/ pans in the kitchen which needed a clean before use. Heating worked perfectly. Shower was great, powerful and enough room to shower properly. Nicest caravan we have stayed in.
Date of stay: 12th August 2016
Nice new caravan
Fun evening entertainment
Date of stay: 6th August 2016
Caravan was clean and tidy. Plenty of space for 4 adults, 2 children a baby and a dog.
Date of stay: 30th July 2016
Great accommodation, having taken our pet dog on holiday with us we don't usually expect much from the accommodation. At most parks you usually receive the older/dated caravans. Not with the Camborne, it had a lovely modern interior and was like new. Would definitely stay in the Camborne again.
Date of stay: 11th June 2016
The caravan obviously was an older model which was fine as we had our dog with us but the bathroom could have been better ie black round the shower door and radiator not clean. Also maybe should have mattress covers as there were stains on the double mattress,we didn't use the single beds but there were stains there as well. However we had a good view and would stay again.
Date of stay: 6th May 2016
The Perrin caravan was modern and very suitable for the two of us, we had plenty of room and storage for two, although we did comment on how much room six people would have, for two - four people it is ideal.
Victoria, Stoke On Trent

Lovely everything we needed

Date of stay: 31st October 2015
Lots to do around the area, short walk to the beach and down into the local village where you have a couple of pubs where you can eat, post office with gifts and bits and bobs, lovely area.
Date of stay: 9th October 2015
The caravan was double glazed and had heating to the main bedroom and bathroom. It had recently been re-carpeted and was spotlessly clean.
We had a little trouble with television reception and maintenance staff arrived within half an hour of reporting it. Within an hour they had replaced the cable to the aerial and thereafter the TV was fine.
Although the general policy is one of no-smoking in accommodation, it is permitted in some vans - a good policy given the British weather and that 20% of people smoke.
Date of stay: 15th August 2015
Very dirty when we arrived which was extremely disappointing but after a couple of hours cleaning (not really what I wanted to do on holiday) we had no further complaints and a great holiday
Date of stay: 25th July 2015
Minack- could have done with a long mirror situated out from the bedrooms as only one in double bedroom. Sofas around breakfast table could have done with the cushions being fixed to seat as they constantly moved. Although the caravan was very clean and tidy some of the utensils in the kitchen were still dirty from the last people, cleaning someone elses mess is not the first thing you want to do on holiday! so mabey they should be checked. The t.v and dvd player could do with updating as t.v had a mind of its own randomly geting louder e.ct and dvd player worked when it wanted to.
Date of stay: 25th July 2015
Caravan roomy and good. Lots of crockery and utensils. Perhaps warmer duvets for colder nights. Bathroom could have been cleaned better, but ok. Enjoyed our first caravan holiday for years great.

Date of stay: 3rd July 2015
Clean and comfortable, everything we needed and a glimpse of the sea too.
Date of stay: 29th May 2015
Probably not your fault, but the lane to the park is very narrow and not suitable for 2-way traffic. It should be a one-way system or the lane widened. Site lovely and clean and a fabulous walk down to the beach. Will return in future.

Date of stay: 8th August 2014
Brilliant we go every year and the location is fabulous ans the staff are a credit to the company we will continue to return for years to come
Date of stay: 8th August 2014
Was lovely, only complaint was price due to summer holiday but this is a general issue not just limited to this location
Date of stay: 2nd August 2014
was a lovely holiday apart from having a car crash down the stupid narrow lane leading up to the campsite, that really needs to be sorted. Because of that, it ruined our holiday and as also made us say we won't be coming back to that site again i'm afraid...nothing wrong with the site, lovely accommodation etc, just the lanes leading to it are ridiculous!

Date of stay: 12th July 2014
First time at Crantock Beach Holiday Park and it was lovely, will definately be going back, very close to the beach and facilities were good. Love Cornwall anyway but this was one of the best places I've stayed. Only a 10 minute walk into Newquay too which is an added bonus.
Janet, St Helens
Date of stay: 28th June 2014
the only problem we felt was that the single lane approach road was a pain as few passing places & if you met someone towing a caravan it was almost impossible to pass without reversing the whole way back to one end !!!!
Date of stay: 27th June 2014
Overall was a great location but car needed. On arrival the shop was closed therefore, we couldn't purchase necessities fresh milk etc. The clubhouse was really good and enjoyed our nights there. Would have been helpful for a few extra items being in the caravan, tea towels, dishcloth, simple items but, needed.
Date of stay: 20th June 2014
We booked 3 vans the wheelchair van and one other were modern but one of the vans was good but not to the standard of the other vans
Date of stay: 14th June 2014
Superb, quiet park in a lovely location. Just enough facilities to keep the children (aged 3 & 4) amused. The park is very well maintained and I should certainly like to return.
Date of stay: 18th April 2014
Excellent location and site
Food a bit pricey
Beautifully maintained par and genuinely helpful and friendly staff.
A fantastic site to stay at with stunning views. Unfortunately our caravan had an issue with the boiler but they sent an engineer out quickly and dealt with it. Will be booking again.
we loved our holiday and would stay at crantock again
Absolutely beautiful setting, a 10 minute walk from the beach and a clean white sand beach at that. The only thing I can fault was the uncomfortable beds in the Perrin accommodation, mine was rock hard and my friend complained her bed was too short.
Probably not do good if you had kids but fir a quiet holiday away from it all, I can't fault it. It's only a 5 minute drive to Torquay too which has everything.
Beautiful place very relaxing would highly recommended.
Having 2 dogs and needing a dog friendly caravan means everything, last year we were disappointed in our caravan which was at a different location, this year though the camp site, caravan and surrounding area were ideal and loved all of it, short walk to the beach and so many other dogs, short walk to the village and both pubs were dog friendly and we even were able to have a meal there and have the dogs under the table as did every other table, the grounds to the caravan site were brilliant and ready made paths made between the blackberry bushes gave varied walks as did several different walks along the coast both toward the Bougie pub and the other way toward Newquay. the view from our caravan over the beach was superb, I would recommend this area to anyone. The only puzzling thing and negative was that the site clubhouse did not allow dogs in which seemed strange being as there were so many on site and the local pubs do, hencve on our visit it seemed empty whenener we went in, we have a;ready booked for next year and will continue to, absolutely loved the place and everyone so friendly and welcoming.
