St Minver Holiday Park really stands out in terms of location.  Situated in the wooded grounds of an old Cornish Manor House this lovely park has something for everyone. You have the added bonus of being close to picturesque coastal villages of Rock, Port Isaac and Padstow for days out.

But with so much going on at St Minver you might not wish to leave the park at all. Children will love the Indoor heated swimming pool with toddlers pool and the Star Landers Kids' Club for under 10s.  The Soft Play Area is ideal for the little ones.

When it comes to dining out as a family at St Minver, the Pizza and Steakhouse Restaurant is perfect.  With a varied menu and relaxing atmosphere it's a great place to catch up on the days events.  Of course you might prefer to relax in your holiday home and if so there's a takeaway if you don't wish to cook.   Evenings come alive in the Showbar Entertainment Venue with bar where you can be entertained while enjoying a few drinks after a busy day.

Accommodation is in choice of chalets, caravans and lodges. We love the Trehawk Lodge 2 if you're looking for a touch of luxury.  This stylish lodge sleeps up to 4 with one double en suite bedroom and one twin bedroom.  Extra touches include a widescreen TV, DVD and Washer/Dryer.  The Trehawk Lodge 3 is similar in terms of style and luxury but is a more spacious option sleeping 6.  For excellent value for money then the Maple Chalet is a good choice offering a comfortable and well equipped base for your stay.  Caravans include the Ash (Extra Wide) offering plenty of space for up to 8 people.  This caravan is a great addition to the accommodation range and offers all the mod cons you need to feel like you are in a home from home.  The decking with outdoor furniture with his caravan is a real bonus.

Date of stay: 22nd June 2019
The only problem was the siting of the caravan, there wasnt any sun on the decking in the afternoon, and the main bedroom was dark due to being very near Sycamore trees.
P, Paignton Devon
Date of stay: 21st June 2019
Our lodge was lovely and big enough for 6adults.The only criticism I have is the sofa's and chair smelt and could do with a really good clean or replacing.
Becky, Devon
Date of stay: 17th June 2019
The reason the lodge score was not a 10/10 for all aspects is due to sone faults with fixtures & some items like haor dryers. What could be rectified from staff was and when it couldn't be sorted the duty manager came to our lodge & gave us £60 in vouchers to get food in the restaurant. The park its self is fantastic & if we went to the same place twice I would 100% go back
Karen, Gloucestershire
Date of stay: 3rd June 2019

Date of stay: 31st May 2019
The lodge itself was great. Easily accessible, quiet, nice decking area, great kitchen utilities I hadnt expected a washing machine. The welcome pack with tea towel and washing up liquid was also very handy and a nice touch. Someone came round to check that everything was okay the next morning After check in. Apart from a couple of cupboards which needed a wipe and one missing plug in the bathroom it was very clean, spacious and very comfortable.
Elaine, Chard
Date of stay: 24th May 2019
The broom is lovely but TV needs a moveable bracket do that it can be seen on both seating areas .
Sarah, Devon
Date of stay: 13th May 2019
We had Lodge 8 on the Glade. Utility area was great useful space, in addition to main kitchen and living area. The weekend we stayed was quite quiet so parking our 2 vehicles was no problem, although I wonder if this could be more of an issue at busy periods. Double bed was really comfy and Ensuite was lovely. Both twin rooms had sufficient space and storage wardrobes. Our lodge also had a bathroom with a bath. We would have been very comfortable in our lodge for a much longer holiday.
Gary, Widnes

Date of stay: 15th April 2019
If I could I would have rated the Polzeath 3 bed lodge we stayed in a 20 out of 10....it was absolutely perfect. We could not fault it in any way, it had everything we needed and was so luxurious and comfortable. Next time we are holidaying in the area we would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone. The one and only little niggle we had was the internet which was exceptionally slow. When you are on holiday with 2 teenagers the internet is really important!! But we, and they, managed and it would definitely not put us off booking to stay again.
Carol, Gb
Date of stay: 15th April 2019

Date of stay: 6th April 2019
The only thing is that we could not eat or drink near the restaurant or bar with our dogs as it was raining and the only place to sit was outside in the rain, therefore we could not use the facilities during bad weather

Date of stay: 20th October 2018
We loved the accommodation but there were a couple of cleanliness issues such as grime on cooker on basins and buttons on toaster microwave etc and I hate to say the vacuum was rubbish so I used a rubber broom I bought and a lot of hair and dust from the carpet........sorry
Dave, Witham
Date of stay: 19th October 2018

Viv, Dorset
Date of stay: 12th October 2018
Accommodation very comfortable spacious (only 2 of us staying) and good value. Would have liked a bed side light for reading in bed.
William, Weston Super Mare
Date of stay: 29th September 2018
Lodge and location 10 out of 10 unfortunately let down by meals.missleading times when meals available and three meals burnt, one hunters chicken and 2 breakfasts with burnt toast and sausages. When we complained no offer of refund for hunters chicken which was not eatable.they did replace toast to our breakfasts.
I would recommend site but would suggest eating at the local pub just behind Manor House which does get busy.
Now we are home I have looked at reviews for this site and found this is a common problem.
Kimberley, Macclesfield

Date of stay: 22nd September 2018
The best double bed I have slept in. The only downside was you could not control the central heating. If the room was at temperature and you were still cold, you couldnt over-ride the thermostat button. Very good showers, constant hot water.
Robert, Earls Colne
Date of stay: 15th September 2018

Date of stay: 18th August 2018
On arriving Saturday evening we had a problem with the gas oven. The next morning staff made a visit to the caravans to check we were happy with the caravan. We mentioned the problem and an engineer was sent for very quickly. The part required would take 7-10 days to arrive so a new cooker was fitted by the Wednesday. As we had a family member who required a special diet vouchers were provided for the restaurant on site whilst the oven was being repaired. The staff were excellent in keeping us informed of what was happening and made our stay as comfortable as possible and apologized for the inconvenience.
The caravan was well equipped and in excellent condition and was clean and tidy.
Victoria, Exeter
Date of stay: 17th August 2018
Really lovely. The only thing was that when we arrived they said we had no booking. On further inspection they said we did and our caravan was just being cleaned. When we arrived the caravan lounge area during look very clean and the smell of dog was not good at all, especially as we had to use the lounge as a sleeping area. We have our own dog who we didn't chose to bring with us so we know that the smell of dog should not be that strong. There was also a duvet that was wet with another guests urine. I feel that if the caravan had been cleaned properly we would not have experienced it. This however, did not take away from a lovely holiday staff were polite, entertainment was Good, and our children lived it. The only downside was that it was not mentioned on checking in that we had to pre book some of the activities, so the children did miss out on a few things. Staff in the shop were really polite. Loved having Elvis serve me, and the other gentleman that was always very polite. I would highly recommend this park to anyone.

The accommodation was very good just two of us in this two bed roomed lodge.
Very well equipped.
The lodge we stayed in was privately owned and the owners have maintained to a very good standard well equipped kitchen where you would be able to cook any meal.
No hesitation in recommending this accommodation.
Julie, Crediton
Date of stay: 2nd April 2018
Caravan indoor pool and site very good.
Entertainment could do with upping its game.
Restaurant was nightmare. Only the fact that it was the first busy weekend and maybe they just couldnt cope.
Although its going to be busier than when we were there so maybe ours wont be the last complaint.

We loved the accommodation it was so nice to stay in a luxury lodge with our dog.

Date of stay: 9th September 2017
The Trehawk Lodge 3 was very pretty, comfortable and spacious. The lodge contained all the facilities we required which made it feel like a home from home. All the facilities worked perfectly. The shower in the master bedroom was large! The lodge was nicely decorated and well kept, and was in a pretty and quiet setting. Hand and bath towels were provided but not bath sheets. There was room for a travel cot in each of the bedrooms although we found it fit better in either of the twin bedrooms. The lodge was warm and heated well with plenty of hot water.

A really lovely holiday
Simon, Altrincham
Date of stay: 26th August 2017
The location was amazing, although I had no phone signal and the WI-FI was very poor depending on your location, the drinks were a bit over priced even for a holiday, the food was amazing, the kids evening entertainment was incredible and so interactive, the only places i would say there was room for improvement on was the soft play area as it was very very small and the walls needed a lick of paint or some TLC and the swimming pool for the young ones could do with a little slide or a a bit more playful would of be an idea, but to be honest these are mediocre, we had an amazing time, the staff were incredibly friendly, the location itself was amazing so much greenery, my dog loved the green and it was so quite and peaceful, and the caravan itself was so nice really well looked after and modern for a caravan, not what i expected at all especially since it was our first visit, this is somewhere we are wanting to go to again and again, it was defiantly worth the 9 hour drive
Helen, Portsmouth

Best lodge weve ever stayed in outstanding
Karen, London
Date of stay: 1st October 2016
Lodge was brilliant but found most of the cutlery and kitchen utensils had old food on them - likely a result of being washed through the dishwasher but not ideal having to wash before you use anything! Also, we had our two kids (1 and 2) and there was no bath in the lodge and while it was great to see cups / steps for the kids in the lodge, these weren't appropriate to the age - more for toddlers, as you need to specify the age range, would have been nice to know there was no bath as the kids hate the shower! We also needed travel cots for both which were provided on arrival however there was no space to put them in the bedrooms or even in the lounge room without re-arranging furniture. Loved the lodge but if you have small kids / babies, I would check with the holiday park about space before booking
Peter, Co Durham

Date of stay: 29th July 2016
A lovely spacious lodge for all 6 of us with everything we could possibly have needed. Incredibly comfortable beds. The only thing which let it down was the dirtiness of the cutlery and crockery. The previous occupants had clearly not bothered to wash up and had put everything away covered in old food, yuk!
Katrina, Stockport
Date of stay: 23rd July 2016
The caravan was clean and comfortable. There seemed to be plenty of pots and pans if you were planning on cooking (I didn't) but not much space in the kitchen area. The shower cubicle was plenty big enough and the water pressure was good.
Pauline, Colne

FAB holiday, the only downer was the seating was supplied for 6 people in the living area and terrace, having that the lodge catered for 8 people, our party was 6 adults plus 1 infant, I often found myself sitting on the floor to be sat with the rest of the party. Otherwise, would choose again and recommend to others.

The accommodation was nice, double parking space, good size and had all the little bits you needed. Sadly not very well cleaned, beer can and cutlery on floor on arrival. There was a few areas where grime had built up and needed to be dealt with really. Most the fittings and fixtures were good but some where a bit old/worn out and a couple in need of being replaced.

Perfect location, would recommend a Sat nav.
Great holiday park. Location is not to far from great locations, if you're confident with a satnav it's perfect. Visited Rock, Padstow, Weybridge, and travelled to St Austall to the Eden Project and Clovelly all in a weekend.
Would thouroughly recommend all of the above. Padstow the highlight!
The holiday park was great had lots to do. My 18month boy loved it!
The only negative was the swimming pool - very cold so he wanted to get out and usually loves swimming! Overall loved our short break!

This was our first experience of a caravan holiday and we couldn't have been more delighted with the whole package! So much better than staying in a boring old hotel. Loads more space, loads more facilities and all the freedom you could have wished for. We will definitely return next summer to St Miniver.

Superb lodge, very spacious, nicely fitted out. Some of the crockery and cutlery was put away dirty so things like this need to be checked. Also, could do with few hooks in bathrooms/bedrooms to hang towels etc.

A lovely caravan but the double bed was not comfy. But the camp is lovely & peaceful. The faciliites for the children were not as good as we thought. We had young teens with us. But the surrounding area is lovely and the beaches great. Staff in reception and shop fantastic.

St. Minver holiday park is situated in a quiet and scenic area, we found the staff extremely helpful especially when the grill didnt work. we told a member of staff who then immediately sorted and replaced the part needed with no hassle at all. The entertainment for the children and the swimming pool were fantastic, They especially enjoyed sid and lizzie. We found all facilities and the grounds were kept extremely clean and tidy and very well kept. You have everything you need for a family in the park from the well stocked shop to the restaurant and entertainment. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and will look forward to returning again.

Overall we loved the lodge. There were just small things that could be done to the lodge to improve it. Such as, a hook or hanger in the bathroom, you had to put clothes on floor. There weren't enough rubbish bins around the park, and it was quite a walk to take recycle items to the recycling area. Another area which needs thinking about is in the double room where the wardrobes and draws were in the dark, a light is needed to see what was in there.

Lovely lodge - a little dusty on arrival inside and the decking area could have done with been swept off before arrival. A few simple things could make a big difference for instance a welcome book with some local information such as neatest supermarket, taxi services, takeaways etc... Also no tea towels or basic cleaning items such as a cloth/bin bags. However the lodge was in a lovely setting and very comfortable so a good 9/10.

Great Holiday park. Great facilities for the young children, loved the sauna. Great woods to walk in whilst the sun sets.
MJ
Only scored 5 for facilities as only swimming pool was open due to time of year. Was informed of this at time of booking but couldn’t rate it as not used the facilities.
Ronald
All the facilities you could require. A pleasant woodland site; very quiet but with easy access to an excellent heated swimming pool and small NISA shop. The entertainment for the children each day kept them busy and happy! Definitly and place to return in the future.

My stay at St Minver so a lovely holiday, the staff were friendly, we were there of Halloween and there was plenty of Halloween activities for the the kids, they park laid a nice Halloween party for the children and the buffet was excellent, my daughter really enjoyed herself. The surroundings of Rock, Padstow, Port Issac, Newquay where not far away at all, local Tesco at Wadebridge was not far at all. I would recommend this park to others.
